It's been a very, very long time since I've used anything like DW. I used to have an LJ account over 15 years ago and wrote something in it about three times. I always resisted joining DWas I drifted away from fandoms that seemed to have content largely on LJ/DW and into fandoms that have a large presence on AO3/tumblr and other places. I honestly can't remember. Maybe it was just that I was able to access most of the things I wanted to see without having to sign up to DW.
Strangely enough, the thing that finally got me to join DW were those same old fandoms of mine and the fic exchanges that take place on here. So... Yeah. I got a DW account. Huzzah for late entries to the party!
I imagine that I will use this largely to search for, read and post fic. I used to write (terrible) HP fiction back in the early to mid 2000s and am about to get back into some (hopefully better) HP fiction in the coming months. I'll also make a masterlist of my more recent fic and will add to it as I go along.
I am a multishipper for some fandoms and then for others I have Very Definite Preferences. But no matter, I have a ship-and-let-ship approach to other people's shipping preferences. Come fangirl with me!
